Today I did a creation and I did the task that is called share to a friend and It looks very nice and  the bottem of the cardboard says you are my friend and I used cardboard for the back with paper and a bite of colour paper and some beddes.

Whetu Challenge

On Friday we did a whetu challenge and we made kites and I made two kites I made one on my own and the other one I work with Emily. It was really fun because I was trying to get it up in the air but It kept coming down and I kept running and It still didn't go up. I made It out of Tarp and some tape with some string and the other kite I made was out of paper and string. That's all and on Friday was the best It was so cool on that day.

Today we did Play,Make,Create and I did a really cool creation and I did a horse made out of string and sticks and bubble wrap and I worked with myself and It was nice to just work by myself and for the jump, I made It out of cardboard and I made so water/hay and a barrel for the horse that I made the one thing that was very hard was making the horse.

 

TTrockstars & Numbots

Term 2, Week 1 2021

During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.

The most challenging thing was the challenges but I'm still going on them so I get better and most of the time there are some hard math questions.

I am now on level of NumBots. I'm on Tungsten and I need to do 88 but I'm now on 54 and I can't wait Intill I'm up to the top one.

I enjoy NumBots because I get better at my maths and I get to go up so many times.

What I find challenging are the challenges and some more math questions.

This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. I like doing maths and this type of maths but It's a bit hard for me

I think that TTRockstars will be great for me because Im not that good at that type of math.

Play,Make,Create

The book we read today was up the creek. I worked with TK we made a speed boat for Moose, Beaver, and Bear. Moose was the one driving and the other two were relaxing in the back and jumping off the side into the water then Moose drives away and Bear and Beaver had to swim to the boat. It was a good exercise for them. We made a fishing rode for everyone to catch some fish or wood or what Moose eats. Here is a photo of TK and I made. I think we did a great job and I love it soooo MUCH!!!!!!

Whetu Fun Day

 Whetu Fun Day

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch, and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.

My favorite part of the Amazing Race was finding the eggs and teamwork and trying to be quiet when other people are around but it was very fun and we did a puzzle that was the hardest but fun and I can't choose what one I like more because I liked them all and In my group, I had Me, Jasmine, Emily, Pippa, Chrysler, Shylah-Faye and, Nicole the manager of our group

The rotation I enjoyed the most was the team game because we got to go in a group and I was in a group with my friend and I was with Jasmine, Emily, Me, Brianna and others that I can't remember but I loved playing with my friends and playing games.

During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick on a little tree where Jasmine's one was and after that, we both ran back to get an Easter egg and Iceblock I got pink.

 Today I made this and it is really cool I worked with Emily and myself we put a toilet in there with toilet paper and grass we made some chairs out of an egg carton and a little fire and we also made a tent In the corner with a little person I the tent when we wore done we put a cover over top of It.  

                                                      

Trophy Thief

 Today I solved a mystery and I found out that It was Mollie who stole the Trophy and It was a bit   hard because we got it wrong on the first clue but we got It right at the end.

This is my creation I used watercolor paint and I sceatched the sun and the clouds and trees for the watercolors I used one dark blue and one a bit lighter than the darker one.  

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I was nervous because I get stage fright but after the first go I got the hang of It and It started getting fun and hard me and my friends were cheering our other friends on and they looked very scared but they did very well. 

We had two art sessions this week and I went In miss macs It's really cool and we are doing an animal face and I'm doing a bunny face and my friend's ones are really cool and look different from mine.

In literacy this week we have to do a draw of the worst teacher and I did one and he looks mean and funny one thing I really like about It is that I like drawing.

Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am good at It because I like doing maths and learning It's really fun when you know some maths too.

Week 3, Term 1, 2021

Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Emily because I did’nt know how to get on to the kahoot but she showed me and now I know and scarllet because I needed help and scarllet helped me for my Poetry she helped me a lot and I helped her too.

The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is Swimming because I like swimming and I now know how to do breath stroke and Im soo Exited too do swimming today.

 

The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is Playing with my friends and playing new games with my new friends.

One word that describes learning in Whetu is The Best because the Teachers always helps me and my friends do and people are really nice in Whetu.

Something I am looking forward to is Numbots because Its a amazing maths game to play and It teaches me a lot of maths.
